A few home truths about building a home and all that surrounds it.
The new home designs that have everyone talking
With over 100 new home designs available in both Victoria and New South Wales, and around 50 house designs in Queensland and South Australia, Burbank customers are spoilt for choice when it comes to choosing the perfect floor plan.
But what makes our home designs stand out from the crowd?
With more than 30 years’ experience, and a team that live and breathe home building, Burbank is at the forefront of modern home design.“We know our customers come from diverse backgrounds, with different lifestyles and budgets – and, when our customers speak about house design, we listen”, says Burbank managing director Jarrod Sanfilippo.
“Take, for example, the launch of our two new Victorian home collections earlier this year”.
“We looked long and hard at our best-selling home designs and most popular floor plans and consolidated them into two collections – the Gen collection and Elements by Burbank”.
“We previously had a third collection, but our customers asked for a more streamlined approach to choosing the perfect house design, which is exactly what we delivered”.
“We’re all about listening to what our customers want, and we’ve come up with over 100 new home designs that combine quality, style and functionality – all at an affordable price”, he adds.
Boasting more than 70 single and double storey home designs, and prices starting from just $157,900, the Gen collection is a big hit with first homebuyers and young families.
In line with Burbank’s localised approach, every house design in the Gen collection is named after an iconic Melbourne suburb.
The Carltonand the Malvernare among the most popular single storey homes, while the Hawthornand the Elwoodshowcase some of Burbank’s best double storey home designs.
For second and third homebuyers, ‘Elements by Burbank’ is a more boutique offering, filled with luxurious new home designs named after famous 5-star hotels.
With names like the Langham and the Ritz, Elements by Burbank is all about incorporating the finer things into everyday life.
“Every Elements home comes with higher ceilings, stone benchtops and three coats of paint throughout”, says Jarrod.
“Then there’s state-of-the-art stainless steel appliances, premium floor coverings, plus designer fixtures and fittings throughout”, he adds.
But it’s not just Victorian customers having all the fun, with new Burbank collections rolling out across the country.
The best part is, every Burbank home is designed with its future owner in mind, which is why new home designs differ between states.
“We know climate is a big consideration for our customers up north, so our Queensland collection of homes includes ranch and acreage designs, like the Rosewoodand the Lockyer, as well as traditional home designs with a focus on indoor/outdoor living”, says Jarrod.
“In South Australia, New South Wales and the ACT, we offer new home designs to fit a wide range of block sizes”, he adds.
“The Brompton 155in our SA collection, for example, requires a minimum lot width of just 8 metres, making Burbank new home designs accessible for homeowners with the most compact of blocks.”
“We even have split-level home designs, especially for sloping lots, plus we do custom home designs for homebuyers wanting something truly unique.”
This huge range of personalised homes, together with unprecedented style and quality, is part of the reason Burbank is one of Australia’s most awarded builders.
In fact, over the years, Burbank has won more than 30 awards, foreverything from sustainable house design to customer service, including an award for the best display home in the $350k to $500k category at the prestigious Master Builders Association awards.
